target toys 75% off!
FYI frugal mommies and grandparents..Target toys went 75% off today...rows and rows of toys...at least at my Target store. Scored Toy Story, matchbox, hotwheels, lego, Thomas and much more!

Dieting
So the husband and I have been dieting since January 3rd. So far we are both down 4 lbs. We have switched to only water. Bye bye Diet Cherry Pepsi and good ole' southern sweet tea.....We have also cut out egg yolks, added wheat bread only, and I am eating more fruit everyday. We are fast food aholics too. I thought this would have been the hardest part to cut out, but really hasn't been hard at all. The hardest thing to cut out so far has been sweets. I am a Hershey bar lover. I have to admit the first 3 days were not easy. I REALLY wanted a Hershey bar.. But so far so good..We have stuck with the diet for almost a week now. Usually when we try this we dont last 3 days.. I have discovered there aren't any healthy breakfast choices at fast food restaurants. So I have been getting up earlier in the morning and cooking breakfast. My bank account loves me for this. My breakfast of choice lately has been yogurt. This weeks goal is to get on the Wii and do some exercise. I am still trying to find the elusive Zumba game for Wii. It is sold out EVERYWHERE! Well if you all dieting, good luck and I would love to hear what you are doing to try to shed those lbs!

I was poking around Target again today and found Toy Story twin comforters 75% off! only $7.XX a piece! Cant beat that! We already had one because my son is a toy Story FANATIC! But what a great deal for someone else to find..

handy tip for the day
Ice packs can be really expensive and can tend to be lost. I saw on the Today show this week a handy altenative. Simply freeze dish soap in a zip lock bag . It stays cold longer than ice and is moldable. Perfect to put on arms and legs that may be hurt. just be sure the little ones dont want to eat it, since most dish soap is brightly colored. Most dish soaps are non toxic though..
Harris Teeter Super Doubles!
If you dont already know Harris Teeter is having Super Doubles until next Tuesday. They will double any coupon up to $1.99! So far this week I have scored free pasta, lysol wipes, .25 propel, asprin, dressing, marinade, yogurt, and so much more! Most of the coupons I used were printed online or were from this past Sundays paper.
Target Christmas Clearance 90% off
Stopped in Target yesterday (one of my favorite places) and Christmas clearance was 90% off! I only spent about $5 and got tons of stuff!

Well, I have finally started my own blog. My friends and family are constantly asking for my advice on coupons, savings, and how to make money from home. So I decided to funnel all that knowledge into one place. Just a little bit about myself, I am a stay at home to 3 boys. They are my life. I have been married to a wonderful man for 12 years. We were high school sweethearts and went to rivaling high schools. We live in Gold Hill, NC. We are originally from Rock Hill, SC. We love camping, off roading, and going on vacation!
